Celebrate Schools! at Lakeside Helped Local Classrooms

In 2012, Celebrate Schools generated funding for 79 classrooms in Michigan, helping 7,010 students. Lakeside Mall shoppers and Club members funded 63 of those projects! A huge thank you to everyone whole helped support these important projects.

The results were amazing and we're looking forward to additional Celebrate Schools programs in 2013!

Inside Track Walking Club

Lakeside Mall and McLaren-Macomb are proud to bring you Inside Track Walking Club.

To become a member, simply stop by the registration table on Wednesday mornings in the Food Court.

Check in is on Wednesdays in the Food Court between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. If you check in two out of four Wednesdays in a month, you will be eligible to be entered into drawings and receive giveaways.

Every fourth Wednesday of the month, a health care professional from McLaren-Macomb will present a brief, informational talk or demonstration pertinent to your good health. The presentation will take place in the Food Court at 9:30 a.m. with coffee provided by Panera.

Lakeside opens early for walkers daily.

• Monday - Satrurday, 8:00 a.m.
• Sunday, 10:00 a.m.

Lakeside Mall supports Detroit Habitat For Humanity

Lakeside Mall has partnered with the Macomb County Habitat For Humanity to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of a national partnership between General Growth Properties (GGP) and Habitat for Humanity International. Since 2007, participating malls and our shoppers have raised $3.2 million in cash donations, sponsorships and ReStore donations to help local Habitat affiliates build homes in communities served by GGP malls.

Every coin thrown into the Center Court fountain goes to benefit Macomb County Habitat for Humanity.
