March is Music in Our Schools Month

In celebration of Music in Our Schools Month, local elementary, middle, and high schools are invited to perform at Lakeside Mall throughout the month of March.

All participating schools are invited to submit a short essay of 250 words of less telling us about their music program and what they would do with a $500 gift to that program. The winning school will receive a check for $500. Schools are invited to reserve a spot as soon as possible by sending an email to lakesidemall.ggp@gmail.com no later than February 21, 2012, to arrange a date, time and location for a performance.

Mall Walking

Lakeside Mall is open for mall walkers at the following times:

• Monday - Saturday: 8:00am
• Sunday: 9:00am

One lap around the Upper Level is 1 mile including the Food Court, the Lower Level is 3/4 mile.

Please enter through one of our four main mall entrances.

Lakeside Mall supports Macomb County Habitat For Humanity

Lakeside Mall has partnered with the Macomb County Habitat For Humanity to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of a national partnership between General Growth Properties, (Lakeside Mall owner/management company) and Habitat for Humanity International. Over the next three years, shoppers will be invited to participate in fundraising events, awareness campaigns and volunteer opportunities to benefit the Macomb County Habitat For Humanity.
